bROTHERS iN bAND presents the dIRE sTRAITS – BROTHERS IN ARMS 40th Anniversary European Tribute Tour, following successful tours across France, Germany, Luxembourg, Portugal, the Netherlands, Belgium, the United Kingdom, Spain, Colombia and Mexico, revisiting the different eras of Mark Knopfler’s band.
This new show celebrates four decades since the iconic album Brothers In Arms and its subsequent tour, faithfully recreating the spectacular tour that led dIRE sTRAITS to conquer the world in 1985 and 1986. Featuring an outstanding stage production and a carefully selected setlist, it includes the band’s most memorable performances from that unforgettable period.
Lead vocals and guitar are performed by the brilliant Angelo Fumarola, taking on the role of Mark Knopfler in bROTHERS iN bAND. He not only recreates Knopfler’s unmistakable voice and style but also captures his posture, gestures, expressiveness and, above all, his extraordinary ability to convey emotion through the guitar, transporting audiences back to the era when Knopfler guided us with melodies now deeply rooted in our collective memory and an essential part of modern music history.
