VALENTINA LISITSA – Sensational pianist and YouTube Phenomenon
Her videos were clicked more than 56 million times on the internet, the number of subscribers to her YouTube channel are approaching the 90,000 mark: Pianist Valentina Lisitsa is considered as the first «YouTube Star» of classical music.
Her piano recital at the Auditorium in Palma consists of three sections each following an individual motto: «Passion,» «Love,» and a furious final: «Fireworks». She will play 6 Preludes by Sergei Rachmaninov, Beethoven’s legendary Sonata Op 57 «Appassionata» and 8 Nocturnes by Frédéric Chopin as well as Franz Liszt’s «Rhapsodie Espagnole» and the «Totentanz» amongst others.
Valentina Lisitsa has just released the complete piano concertos by Rachmaninov on her exclusive label DECCA. She appears at concert performances throughout Europe, the USA and in the Far East. Her concert in Palma will be her debut in Spain at the same time.

La pianista Valentina Lisitsa está considerada como la primera estrella de la música clásica en «YouTube».
El recital de piano que ofrece en el Auditorio consta de tres partes; la primera se presenta bajo el lema «pasión», la segunda bajo el título «amor» y el final llega con furiosos «fuegos artificiales».
Se podrán escuchar 6 preludios de Sergei Rachmaninov, la legendaria sonata Op. 57 «Appassionata» de Beethoven, 8 nocturnos de Frédéric Chopin, así como las piezas «Rapsodia española» y la «Danza de la muerte» de Franz Liszt.
Valentina Lisitsa acaba de publicar en CD y en exclusiva para el sello DECCA los conciertos para piano de Rachmaninov. La gira de conciertos actual llevará a la pianista a distintas ciudades europeas, así como a los Estados Unidos y al Asia oriental.
Este concierto en Palma de Mallorca supone a la vez su debut en España.
