The Grönholm Method is a satire about the world of recruitment processes. Four candidates for a high-level position in one of the most prestigious multinational companies arrive for the final test. This follows a highly unconventional procedure: the Grönholm Method.
The applicants will face a series of cruel “games” together, based on real recruitment techniques. The absurd tests proposed by the company’s psychologists become a battle where fierceness and lack of scruples seem to have no limits. However, the first twist — among many throughout the play — comes when it is revealed that one of the four is actually an employee of the company, whom the others must identify.
But this is only the beginning, the spark for the comedy, in which the games and traps continue, forcing each character to confess intimate details about their lives, while the others must decide whether these confessions are true or merely a strategy to achieve the ultimate goal: securing the coveted position.
The play shines a harshly humorous light on an era in which unemployment and job insecurity have become a true curse. In the desperate pursuit of employment, every trace of humanity has been erased, and the candidates are reduced to mere puppets. How far will they be willing to go to obtain the job they have always dreamed of?
