Miércoles Addams has grown up and is keeping a secret that could shake the foundations of her peculiar family: she has fallen in love with Tomas, a sweet and completely “normal” young man. Determined to bring the two families together, she convinces Gomez to organise a dinner at the Addams family home, although she asks him not to reveal anything to Morticia.
What should be a quiet evening soon turns into a succession of secrets, misunderstandings and outrageous situations. While Gomez tries to keep the peace between his wife and daughter, Morticia begins to suspect that something is going on, and the rest of the Addams family do everything they can —in their own peculiar way— to behave normally in front of their guests.
With songs, dark humour and unexpectedly tender moments, The Addams Family, the Musical explores love, family and just how difficult it can be to accept that people change.
