Poderío is a stand-up monologue about all the times we’ve been treated like fools and about the strength that emerges when we stop apologising for being who we are.
After spending years pointing out the external judgement faced by female comedians, Virginia now turns her gaze inward: towards high sensitivity, life experience, healthy anger and emotional intelligence without sugar-coating.
She talks about relationships, ageing, beauty standards, Ozempic, motherhood and choosing not to be a mother, fertility clinics, egg donation, housing, cystitis, menstrual cups and even crying over yoghurt commercials…
All of it delivered through humour, without solemnity or preaching.
